A marine survey is a comprehensive inspection or a critical examination of a marine vessel for a specific purpose. A marine surveyor is an impartial observer of a vessel, yacht or Cargo who acts to assist interested parties in determining the condition and the safe utilization of the vessel or yacht, or the safe delivery of Cargo. Surveyors will investigate and report the natüre, cause and extent of the occurrence.
